About Old Line Roofing & Solar

Old Line Roofing & Solar owner, Dan O’Toole, began doing business in 2001 when he and his father decided to hang up their welding torches and lay the foundation for the future of their family. With over 60 years of experience as ironworkers, shaping the skyline of downtown Baltimore, the duo promised each other dedication and determination. Rooted in their strong Irish heritage of hard work and kindness, they started “Claddagh Construction Services,” setting a standard for doing repair work and remodeling for members of their own community. The mindset has always been family oriented. With this mentality, Dan Jr and Dan III prided themselves on listening to and understanding exactly what their clients were trying to accomplish. Making sure their clients were satisfied was always their number one priority in all they did.

Seeing a large need for solar services in the Maryland area, Old Line Roofing and Solar has since grown into “Old Line Roofing & Solar,” bringing Marylanders an even larger array of professional services from the same family who specialized in roofing and construction. Old Line Roofing & Solar has worked diligently through the pandemic to help homeowners with their roofing, solar, and siding needs and to build a greener world together. “The proof is on the roof!”

HAAG CERTIFICATION

HAAG Certification Residential Roofs

Our Inspectors are Storm Damage Inspectors

It’s common sense: building materials don’t last forever. Throughout a product’s life cycle, its ability to keep you dry and insulated can be affected in a variety of ways. The natural process of weathering and aging can be accelerated by a number of factors, such as the damaging effects of hail and wind or other non-natural (mechanical) forces.

While these issues are very different in origin, on the surface they can look quite similar. Determining the true cause of an issue with confidence requires advanced knowledge and thorough investigation techniques.

This is why Haag Certification is so valuable. Haag Certified Inspectors are not beginners in the field. They are adjusters, estimators, home inspectors, roofing contractors, consultants, and other industry pros who have fine-tuned their inspection skills to find damage where it exists.
